Mid March is the main time for foxes to give birth. Mrs Fox, or should it be Ms Vixen, looks as though she is carrying cubs. Either that or she has been eating too many peanuts. She has been the first to turn up for the food every night this week.
It's no wonder that you indulge with the peanuts, Christopher. Your foxes are gorgeous and I can just imagine this vixen soon raising fat, healthy pups.
There was one here this morning in broad daylight Florence, but it was too quick and had gone by the time I had fetched the camera. I'll be ready for it tomorrow.
