First hawker

This was my first sight of a hawker this year and it was in my kitchen garden this morning (please excuse the weeds). It was a beautiful teneral (newly emerged) female southern hawker.  It had shiny silvery gossamer wings when it flew which the photos don't really do justice to.  A real treat to see in the garden.
