End of year favourites - Mammals
I have come across several of the larger British mammals this year but fewer of the smaller mammals and to get photos I often have to rely on the trail camera. Here are some of my favourite images.

Red deer
I was in Glen Etive last week for a landscape photography workshop so I had only a moment for a couple of snapshots out of the window as we drove by. I'll be back for more.

End of year favourites - Mammals
This time of year gives an excuse for looking back. These are a few of my favourite encounters with mammals. It is interesting that they are nearly all the same colour. I hope for more and for better pictures next year.

Stag party
The red deer rut has started but this chap was more interested in his breakfast. Very low light before sunrise in Boredale, Cumbria using ISO 6400 so a fairly low resolution.
