Stag party
The red deer rut has started but this chap was more interested in his breakfast. Very low light before sunrise in Boredale, Cumbria using ISO 6400 so a fairly low resolution.

Mr Badger
The badger is usually the good guy in children's stories and in mythology, unlike the fox who is often a baddie. This badger seemed quite unperturbed by the flash and was mainly interested in peanuts. Photos from Boredale, Cumbria last week.

Enchanting encounter
Hares were thought to have magical powers and have been associated with the moon and with fertility. There really is something magical about this enchanting creature, especially when seen so close up. The pictures were taken at the time of the full moon earlier this week in Boredale, Cumbria.
