Crash landing

Bitterns are clumsy and inelegant flyers when they fly from one reedbed to the next.  The landing technique is to crash into the reeds, hoping they will provide a soft landing.  Not pretty but effective.  Photos taken in very poor light so some are a bit grainy and/or blurry.
