FoxCam in the garden

The infrared trail cameras give a fairly flat light for photos and videos so I have been experimenting with using two cameras at the same time, so each provides extra illumination for the other.  Getting the foxes to stand in the right place and look the right way is as tricky as ever but here are the first results.

This is the opposite view.

The photos are all frame grabs from video.  The videos themselves are pretty unexciting, being just endless pictures of foxes chewing.  Stills from video seem to be just as good as when I set the camera to take photos and video has the advantage that the infrared light stays on.  If they were set to take still photos it is unlikely the cameras would fire at exactly the same time.

I think it has potential, particularly when there is more in the background than just the lawn as here.  I'll try it out on the badgers soon and post the results here if they are any good.
