Starlings are starting to warm up for their air show season. This was a fairly small murmuration but fun to watch. A few jackdaws got caught up in the excitement.
Seeing these photos makes me want to recreate the birds as a pattern - perhaps as a card or painting for someone. I admire the starkness of the outlines and how each bird is individual and slightly different despite their similarities.
