I put in the ramp by the sluice gate for the benefit of the otters but the cameras record other animals, such as water shrews, using it as well.  And here is a recording of a mother and her 12 ducklings venturing though the pipe.  There was a brief gap in the recording as the camera only works for 20s at a time and in the gap three of the last four took the plunge.  Then the last one landed with a thump and, after counting them all, the mother led them off.  I hope there were no otters about.

The camera recorded mallard ducklings on their own last year.  That was before I put in the ramp and the mother didn't follow them over the sluice so we never saw how the story ended.  You can see that post here.
