Another rare warbler

Another rarity blown in on the easterly winds last weekend.  This is a barred warbler that I saw alongside the Pallas's leaf warbler I posted a couple of days ago.  This is a first year bird without the typical barring of the throat and chest feathers seen in the adult male.  It breeds in eastern Europe and central and southern Asia and winters in tropical East Africa but fancied a trip to Whitley Bay on the way.  Well who wouldn't?
