Is the square picture format a constraint of the software/site etc. I think some of these wonderful shots would be even more interesting in a different shape.
Good point Phil. The square format is my choice and in general I prefer it for natural history subjects. Given the landscape nature of these pictures I did wonder about these before posting but in the end chose square for consistency with other posts. I have reposted in original format. See what you think. Chris
