Magpies

Not everyone's favourite, but they are intelligent and resourceful birds.  They are a constant presence in the garden, usually six at a time after successful nesting in the wood.  They can be a real nuisance, pulling up all the plant labels (to see if they are edible) and running up and down the roof at 5 in the morning.
