Mystery flowers

One of my aims for next year is to learn the names of more of our wild flowers.  I know very few by name but the variety is amazing.  These were all encountered on a short walk in the dunes at Druridge Bay this week.  I think I can name about 20%.

  1. More challenges! The flowers out of context are interesting! Hard to ID for me too. I'll be worse than you!

    1. Thanks Ian. It isn't fair really to put only close-ups of the flowers without showing the plants but I was interested in the contrast and variety of the shapes and colours. The ones I knew for sure were ragwort, vipers bugloss, clover, teasel and campion. I'll try to do better next year.
