The hunter and the hunted

These photos were taken a few minutes apart in the kitchen garden, a male sparrowhawk and a very young dunnock.

    Did the dunnock escape? The sparrowhawk looks like it means business.

      I think it got away that time but of course the sparrowhawk always comes back.
